Peg-Loom & Stick Weaving

STickWeaving workshop page

Explore the versatility of the humble peg loom and stick weaving techniques with accomplished weaver, spinner and dyer Hanne Dahl in this fun, accessible one-day workshop. This is a flexible workshop in which participants will learn how to prepare the tools for weaving before going on to design and weave their project, such as a snug scarf, toy animal or chair cushion to take home. The day will introduce you to different weaving materials, from washed sheep fleece and knitting yarns to scrap fabrics that can be turned into new items.

All materials supplied – but feel free to bring in any fabrics, clothing or yarns that you might like to incorporate into your piece – this is a great way of using up odds and ends!
